This hat is an amazing stash buster hat to use up any leftover yarns and scraps. The hat is cast on with the same number of stitches for all the sizes but you will be changing the length of the ribbing and how long you’ll be knitting the hat for each individual size. The sample size I knit was the Adult Small and it fits everyone in my family. For me it’s a slouchy fit, it’s a tight fit beanie on my husband, and for the girls, it’s a cozy slouchy beanie that will grow with them. Keep this in mind when deciding what size to knit the final hat. If you’re wanting to knit for charity I would highly recommend you knit the size Adult Small.
