Just about the warmest hat ever worn. The construction is, in effect, double knitted. A really good hat for snowy climes and for men who work outside and are exposed to extreme weather.

Knitted flat, bottom up, it is one of the simplest patterns ever. Really no counting and no way to ‘lose your place’ in the pattern.

A relaxing, rhythmic ‘knit-in-front-of-the-telly’ knit.

Entirely suitable for a novice knitter.

Almost any chunky (or even Aran) will work just as well. You do not need to use 2 colours, you could make it all one clour or 24 different colours!
