Shape
Marrakech is a triangular shawl that starts from the centre top edge and increases in width and depth forming a point as you go. It is constructed using two contrasting yarns. Just one colour is worked per row. If you can knit, purl, M1 and slip a stitch purlwise then you can make your own Marrakech.

2 colourways fingering yarns (840m each colour way) with long colour repeats, or two single colours. Total: 1680m (1840yds approx). 4 balls of Zauberball

Needle Size
US 2/3 (3mm) circular needles; 40” (100cm) cable.

US 8 (5mm) Double-Pointed Needle (DPN); or circular any length to cast off / bind off. A DPN will make it easier.

Gauge
Garter stripe section: 20 sts (including slipped sts) x 36 rows blocked (10cm square).
