This poncho is worked flat in one piece with buttons attached to two sides and buttonholes worked on the other two sides.
The stitch patterns are both written (Stitches Used) and charted (p 2-3) for your preference.

Size 4 US / 3.5 mm circular needle, 24” / 60 cm long
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

GAUGE
21 sts and 31 rows = 4” / 10 cm in St st, after blocking.
