Construction Details: The Marshmallow Earflap Hat is worked in the round from the bottom up. The earflaps are worked first and then attached to the brim of the hat on the first round.

Sizes: Adult Small/Medium (Adult Large)

Finished Measurements: 19.5 (22)”/49 (55) cm circumference and 8 (8.5)”/20 (21) cm depth.

Yarn: 100 (120) yards of Bulky weight (CYCA #6) yarn.

Sample shown in: Summer Camp Fibers “Marshmallow Bulky” (100% Superwash Merino Wool; 109 yds/100 g) in Adventure Alley.

Needles: US 11 (8 mm) 16”/40 cm circular needles and DPN or size needed for gauge. Adjust needle size as necessary to obtain gauge.

Gauge: 11 sts and 16 rounds = 4” in Stockinette Stitch.

Other materials: Stitch marker, 2 locking stitch markers, tapestry needle, scissors, pom pom (optional).
