This soft and squishy hat is easier than it looks! Instead of purling in rounds to get the reverse stockinette pattern, the hat is simply knit inside out, and turned at the end before weaving in tails.

This hat pattern is suitable for an advanced beginner! The skills needed include working in the round, knitting two together, slip slip knit, knitting and purling.

Sizes: to fit 12 (14, 16, 18, 21, 23) inch head circumference
30 (35, 40, 45, 52.5, 57.5) centimeters

Materials:

About 105 (125, 145, 160, 185, 203) yards of worsted weight yarn AND 115(135,150,170, 200, 220) yards of laceweight mohair or similar

OR

About 105 (125, 145, 160, 185, 203) ) yards of aran weight yarn if you choose not to hold two strands together.

6 stitch markers, one for the beginning of the round

Needles to get gauge, suitable for working in the round.
