Marshmallow Tee
This tee is the perfect project for knitting over coffee because it doesn’t require any shaping, counting, or complex pattern stitches. Its simplicity allows the yarn to bring interest and life to your garment. The silky, shiny thin fiber contrasts with the soft matte poof of the thick fiber (which reminds me so much of marshmallows!), and this yarn’s texture has the added benefit of hiding any uneven knitting tension.

NOTES
-If other thick-and-thin yarn is substituted work in one needle size larger than its label recommends.
-Working in the larger size is easier on your hands and produces a fabric with more drape for the half twist.
-Given the uneven yarn texture and oversized fit, exact gauge is not critical, but size can be adjusted by casting on more or fewer stitches. Just remember to cast on the same number of stitches for both the front and back pieces.
-Slipping the first stitch of every row purlwise creates a neater fabric edge.
-For easier seaming, use a non-slubby yarn of the same color and similar fiber content.
-The pattern is written to accommodate a variety of sizes by its loose fit. The tee is worked entirely in easy, reversible garter stitch. Front and back are knit sideways, separately. For a slimming feature, the front is knit slightly longer to allow for a one-half twist of the fabric before simple seaming forms the neck and cap sleeves, keeping the tee in place on your shoulders. You’ll quickly have a stylish and modern go-anywhere wardrobe piece, or a thoughtful gift for a friend.
