This baby bonnet is worked in two parts.
First the edge is worked flat. Then stitches are picked up and the pattern continues back and forth in garter stitch, until the piece is closed to be worked in rounds. After the required length, decreases are worked to shape the crown.
The bonnet is finished off with a crochet cord.
