Martha Socks is a follow up design to its sister, the Martha Hat. Inspired by the first First Lady Martha Washington, both the socks and hat are knitted with Biscotte Yarns’ first line of yarn with wool that was raised and milled in the US.

Finished Measurements and Yardage Requirements

One size (adult) with adjustable foot length
Finished Measurements (unstretched):
• circumference: 8.75 in (22.25 cm)
• length (from heel to cuff): 8 in (20 cm)

The amount of yarn required depends on the foot length that you make. As a reference, in my sample for shoe size US 8 (EU 38/39), I used 40 g of MC and 46 g of CC for the pair.

This pattern has been tech-edited and test-knitted.
