Feb 2017: Marty met a gal named Rita!

Marty the Moose and Rita the Reindeer is the perfect holiday decoration or stuffed toy! You can make yourself a moos or a reindeer. The pattern also comes with 3 different optional accessories, a Santa hat, scarf, and Christmas lights.

This pattern is more of an intermediate pattern. The moose/reindeer is worked in multiple pieces that will need to be sewn together with WW yarn and a G hook. My G hook is listed as a 4.25, many have a 4.00, so the sizing may be off slightly when finished. The hat and scarf are simple pieces. The Christmas lights are made using embroidery floss and a very small B hook. These are the most tedious pieces of the pattern.

When completed, Marty will stand approximately 8 inches tall (top of head to feet), 10 inches long (snout to tail), and a whopping 9.5 inch antler span! You could easily use any smaller hook to make him a bit smaller.
