Marty Mothman is actually fairly sociable as cryptids go, but his short stature and nocturnal habits naturally limit his visibility. He loves to flit about with Betty Yeti and Fern the Jackalope and is especially fond of a good round of Rummy while gathered around the lamp light.

The pattern is an 9 page pdf with clear written instructions and photo illustrations. Pattern is in English with US crochet terminology.

This pattern is written for fingering or sport weight yarn, I prefer mercerized cotton. He stands about 4 inches tall and you can easily make a larger version with a larger yarn and hook.

Supplies Needed

  • Fingering weight cotton yarn: Body color: < 25 g Wing and antennae: < 25 g Eyes: scrap

  • 1.5 to 2mm hook, per your preference

  • embroidery needle

  • toy stuffing

  • stitch marker
