Marvellous Minis Mits
Its time for the third pattern in the Minilicious Pattern club and this time we are stepping things up a gear in terms of technique and complexity … although don’t let that scare you because this pattern is still fairly simple … but it has the bonus of looking way more difficult to knit that it really is.
These fingerless mitts are made using a main colour as the dominant Right Side colour and a set of minis for the back ground colour in this Fisherman’s Rib (Faux Brioche) technique. On top of the Fisherman’s Rib pattern, I also decided to incorporate some cabling down the back of the mitts to add some additional detail and fun to the project!
The advantage of this design is that the stitch pattern creates a very stretchy fabric which makes it a great gift knit as the finished project will be very forgiving size wise and will stretch to fit a variety of hand sizes. Even so, I’ve included instructions for three different sizes in the pattern as well.
PLEASE NOTE - THIS PATTERN IS EXCLUSIVE TO THE MINILICIOUS PATTERN CLUB. THIS AND THE REST OF THE CLUB PATTERNS WILL BE RELEASED FOR INDIVIDUAL SALE TOWARDS THE END OF SEPTEMBER 2019.
