I designed this hat for season 2 of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisels (on Amazon Prime). I was given a few reference images for inspiration, and to be appropriate to late 1950s, and off I went!

I’ve made this beret many times, its quick and easy, and requires only a skein of a DK or light Worsted weight yarn. Wear it to the side, beret style, or like a slouchy hat. It stretches to fit an older child through adult head circumferance.
