A monkey soft toy is a must have for every child! This cute amigurumi monkey is a fun project that is relatively fast to make, and it uses less than one 100gr skein (8 ply/dk).

This crochet pattern includes easy to follow instructions with a helpful diagram to show you how to join the legs as you go.

Gauge is not important for this pattern. I have listed some yarns that you can use above, but feel free to choose whatever yarn you like. If you use a heavier or lighter weight yarn, keep in mind that this will change the size of your finished product. With a 4.5mm hook and 8 ply yarn, the monkey measures approximately 28 cm (11 inches) height.

Yardage – Colours (with Dk/8 ply yarn)
Main Colour – MC (brown) – approximately approx. 85 gr (149m/161.5 yd)
Contrast Colour – CC (beige) approx. 10 gr (17.5m/19 yd)
