Sue Leighton-White reconstructed these gloves, which were originally made by Mary Allen (1857-1924), a Yorkshire Dales knitter, and given to the Wordsworth Trust in 1949 by a “Mrs. Inglis.”
Knitters may use the extensive charts given in the pattern to chart their own name, date, or other message.
Materials: 1 ball each of Rowan Pure Wool 4-ply in #404, Black, and #451, Porcelaine.
