Mary the Goat
Materials and tools you will need:
- yellow color yarn – less than 50 g;
- blue fluffy yarn – less than 50 g;
- dark blue yarn – small amount;
- matching crochet hook;
- plastic pellets to add weight (optional);
- two black half pearls (I used ø 7 mm) or plastic safety eyes;
- a piece of white felt for the white of the eyes (optional);
- brown embroidery thread for the nose and mouth;
- wire for the wire frame (optional);
- stuffing;
- tapestry and sewing needle;
- adhesive plaster tape with fabric base 1 cm wide to process the wire cuts (the one you use to cover wounds);
- blusher for tinting (optional).
Measurements:
I used Goksim yarn (340m/100g, 100% acrylic) in yellow and dark blue colors and Adelia Valeri (146m/50g, 50% wool, 50% acrylic) in blue color; crochet hook 1.75 mm. The finished toy is 14 cm (5.5 inches) tall when seated.
