This is a new version of my previously published pattern “Maryam”. Welcome to my first CAL.

In this CAL we are about to use this pattern in a square format(center out).

Sizes:

This pattern comes in two sizes:

Baby blanket size: 84cm x 84 cm
( 56 rounds and 56 rows)

Larger size: Lapghan: 130cm x 130 cm
(87 rounds and 87 rows)

Hook:

I used a 4.5 mm hook for the Yarnspiration Bernat Premium. You can use any yarn and hook of your choice but be advised that the size of your blanket or afghan will be different from mine.

Yarn:

For the larger project, I used 5 skeins of 198g (329 m) for the main color and 4 skeins of the same weight and length for the opposing color. For the smaller version, you’ll need approximately one skein less of each color.

As the pattern is symmetrical, the end result will be the same for both left-handed and right-handed people.

And as usual, the pattern has two versions, simple and adventurous!

The simple version consists of only rounds plus the border. (For beginners). In an adventurous version, you have both rounds and rows plus a border if you decide to have one. (for intermediate or advanced level or those who like challenging patterns)!
