What’s this: These are my Maryjane’s Puff socks.

Why should I make these: You might be thinking that there ain’t no way I’ve designed these crochet socks to be worn in shoes but you’d be wrong. These are designed to be worn in your favorite maryjanes but will be comfortable in all your shoes!

When will they get the most use: When you want to show off your gorgeously textured crochet socks!

Who are they for: Instructions are given for baby to adult, with tips on how to adjust to any size.

Where do I start: This pattern is rated Intermediate - you’ll need to know or be eager to learn the basic crochet stitches and colour changing. You will need 115 g of fingering weight sock yarn (used here: Hawthorne Fingering Kettle Dye by WeCrochet, colour Volcano) and a 3.5mm hook. Other notions: a yarn needle and some stitch markers.

Qu’est-ce que c’est ? Ce sont mes bas Maryjane’s Puff.

Pourquoi je les aime tant ? Vous vous dites peut-être que cette fois je ne prétendrai pas avoir créé des bas au crochet qui puissent être portés dans des chaussures mais vous vous trompez. Ces bas ont été créés expressément pour des souliers ouverts mais seront tout aussi confortables dans toutes vos chaussures.

Quand seront-ils utiles ? Quand vous voudrez mettre en vedette leur magnifique texture crochetée.

À qui s’adresse ce modèle ? Les instructions pour des tailles allant de bébé à adulte, avec des indications pour réaliser la taille que vous voulez.

Je commence où ? Modèle Intermédiaire vous devez être confortable avec les mailles de base (ou avoir envie d’apprendre le crochet) et les changements de couleur. Vous aurez besoin de 115 g de laine à bas de poids fingering (ici : Hawthorne Fingering Kettle Dye par WeCrochet, coloris Volcano) et d’un crochet 3,5 mm. Vous aurez aussi besoin d’une aiguille à laine et de marque-points.
