The Maryland Heights Sweater is an intricate colorwork sweater knit from the top-down with a circular yoke and short rows to raise the back. It uses three contrast colors and one main color and the fair isle patterning is inspired by the nature around the Maryland Heights Trail in the Appalachian mountains.

Note that the colorwork is charted only.

Please note that because you are using 4 strands of yarn in the colorwork yoke, the density of the yarn is extremely important to prevent the sweater from sagging too much with blocking and wear. For this reason, I recommend that you choose a suggested yarn or a yarn with the same/similar density as that suggested (at least 100m per 50 grams).
