This project is aimed at intermediate crocheters, but I think adventurous beginners familiar with some special stitches: front post stitches and clusters; should be able to crochet it too.

This design consists of 25 rounds, and you can make the mandala in solid colour or follow the pattern and crochet in 6 pastel colours. The madala measures 50 cm (stretched in the ring) using fingering yarn, with a 2.5 mm hook. Use cotton thread and 1.5 mm hook for 40 cm diameter.

MANDALA or A DOILY, choose the right option for you. This pattern allows you to do both. This pattern is very versatile; the written instructions are made for two versions. You can choose a version in six pastel colours or a single-colour version. The single-coloured version is also perfect for a gradient yarn. In addition, the pattern includes a chart (for the single-coloured option) and a photo tutorial (which shows the multiple-coloured option). You can replace the front post stitches with basic stitches for a completely different effect.⁠divided into 7 different round motifs, every or each one of them is made in a different (rainbow)color. Feel free to make a whole mandala or just a few motifs. The pattern is written using a delicious gradient yarn. Choose your own colorway or make one in solid color.

Materials
Yarn: any fingering yarn
Ring: 50 cm in diameter
Scissors, tapestry needle to weave in ends.
You can use any similar yarn and suitable hook.

The size of the finished mandala depends on the yarn and hook you use. My mandala is approx. 42 cm large before blocking and 50 cm after blocking and stretching in the ring.
