Pattern has directions for a washable infant/toddler toy as well as a non-washable stuffed animal suitable for older children and adults.

MC: 4 50 gm balls of eyelash yarn (200 yds). Be sure to check yardage; it varies by color.

CC: 1 50 gm ball 100% cotton or blend, DK wt.

Gauge is not critical; finished monkey is about 20 inches long and fits newborn or Build-A-Bear (TM) clothing.

Other materials:
For infant toy: Fiberfill, embroidery floss for eyes and mouth, sewing thread same color as CC.

For adult stuffed animal: Above, plus 25 pipe cleaners, long size, Duct tape, round toothpicks, 2 18mm plastic eyes with posts and snap-on backs (Creatology brand at Jo-Ann’s), heavy weight button thread to attach eyes to face.
