Masculin/Feminin is a set of two patterns:
a scarf (for boy or for girl doll) and a lace shawl (for girl or for boy doll and for human grown up)

both scarf and shawl are based upon a heirloom very easy lace pattern. nothing complicated, it’s designed for advanced beginners or intermediate knitters.
the scarf is a mix of stripes, ribs and lace pattern to keep your work interesting.

i used light fingering yarn, but any fingering yarn is suitable and even sport weight would probably be perfect for a human size warm shawl.

you’ll need:

• shawl: 150 m for doll; 700 m for adults
• scarf: 150 m MC and about 15 g of CC1 & CC2

gauge is not critical, but i recommend needles 4 or less for the shawl for doll to avoid too big holes.
