Masculine Scoodie
The lower portion may be lifted to cover the nose if desired. The bottom is extra long on purpose to allow tucking into a shirt neckline, folding double for warmth as shown, or allowing it to gather at the neck. Pull up as much or as little as you need to cover the face. Multiple gauges are given so that any machine capable of half fisherman’s rib may be used. 2 beds are needed. This is part of a book called “Special Scoodies.”

The specialness of these scoodies lies in the fact that they all involve a little bit more than the basic stockinette. It may be lace, double bed work, tuck stitch or fur yarn. The descriptions in the table of contents reveal what it is for each particular design. Most patterns have one “adult” size which will fit girls from about age 10 to all women. Chill Chasing, Masculine & Sneaky Snake include more sizes.
