Masha the Moose - 13 Page PDF

There is nothing more magical than when from nowhere a Moose steps out from the woodland to greet you. You have been warned to retreat, but you don’t. The worlds tallest, largest and heaviest species of deer, wanting you to stroke him, why would you walk away? He stands silently proud beside you, ‘eater of twigs’ and you stand silently proud beside him.

This PDF includes the written instructions in US terms and step-by-step photos detailing how to make the pieces to finish your creation. When made with DK weight yarn (sample made in Stylecraft Special DK) and a 2.0mm hook, the finished gingerbread man will measure around 15cm/6” tall.

The project can be made using any weighted yarn, just adjust the hook size to match your choice.

You’ll need to know how to:

• make a Magic Ring or a chain 2 equivalent
• work in a round
• single crochet
• increase/decrease
• half double crochet
• double crochet
• front/back loop only
• slip stitch

You will need the following materials:

Yarn: Stylecraft Special Dk - Acrylic - 100g/295m/323 yards
1 ball of each colour (you won’t need full balls): Dark Brown 1004, Graphite 1063, Mushroom 1832. You will also need a white for eye expression.
2.0mm crochet hook
12mm black safety eyes
Soft stuffing/ Fibrefill
Stitch markers x3
