Normally I name my socks after the place I’m traveling to while knitting them. I had started these right before we were supposed to go to Mason City, IA, a small town a few hours from here. We didn’t end up making the trip but I decided to stick with the name Mason. The pattern itself is an easy to memorize Gansey style.
