Many of Poc’s details are accomplished by working sl on top of existing crochet. I’ve included what I hope are helpful images if you aren’t familiar with this technique.

If you prefer another joining/seaming technique with similar results, feel free to use it. Often, either type of stitch will work and you can use whichever suits you.

Gauge: 4 sts/inch, 3.5 rows/inch

The finished Poc is not small. He’s approximately 12” across, 12” long, and about 16” tall. His long front tentacles alone are 12”. Ideally, he would look best hanging with an attachment at the back of his body, which will actually make him taller.
