This year it is 100 years since Albert Einstein received the Nobel Prize for his contribution to theoretical physics. Among his work is the famous equation E=mc2 which is also the main motif of the Mass-Energy hat.
Suggested yarn is Mini Sterk from Du Store Alpakka, but other wool yarn of same weight can also be used.

The hat is knitted in two colour stranded colorwork. Feel free to choose the color suggestion in the pattern or use your favorite colors and create a unique color combination.
Needle sizes used in the pattern are intended as suggestions only. Control the gauge by knitting a test swatch. If the test swatch has fewer stitches in 10 cm than the stated gauge, reduce the needle size. If the test swatch has more stitches, increase the needle size.
The pattern comes in only one size. Unaltered the size is around 57-60. The size can be changed by going up or down a needle size.

Size may also be changed by knitting with different gauge for example 34 or 36 sts in 10 cm. Gauge may be changed by using thicker/thinner yarn and/or needles.
