This sock pattern, or more precisely a technique, aims to teach you how to knit toe up socks with anatomical toebox, and a modified shadow wrap heel.

This pattern expects you to have a basic experience with knitting socks.
If you need help with basics of sock knitting, I recommend you check out the No Fear Sock Knitting class by the talented Denise DeSantis from Earthtones Girl channel.
You can also check her website or Ravelry page for some beginner friendly sock patterns.

It is aimed at intermediate or adventurous beginners who want to knit a pair of custom fitted socks.
This pattern functions more as a worksheet, where you will measure recipient’s feet, and do some calculations, which will give you a customized knitting pattern.
The resulting pattern will tell you how many stitches to cast on, how to knit the toe, the foot, and the heel.
It leaves any decoration, such as ribbing, cables, stitch pattern, or similar up to you.

Another benefit of this pattern is its flexibility, so you can use it for any yarn (within reason), any gauge, and any foot size.
Additionally this pattern does not assume how you want to knit your socks, so you can use it for magic loop, two circulars, or DPNs.
You can knit them two at a time, or one at a time.

To help you get started I have included both a filled out worksheet and a handout.
The filled out worksheet is the one I used to knit the socks you can see in the listing photos.
The handout links to useful resources, and provides additional information about how to use this pattern.
With these resources you should be able to knit a pair of custom fitted socks in no time.

As mentioned above these socks are knit toe up, and can use any sock yarn weight you like.
It requires you to know what gauge you are knitting at, so you will need to knit a gauge swatch.
The included handout will help you with that.
