Yarn substitutes:
MC may be substituted by any self striping worsted weight yarn.
CC may be substituted by any (solid colour) worsted weight yarn.
If you plan to use a different yarn or to change the scarf’;s size, please keep in mind that the pattern should be worked over an even number of stitches and on larger needles than suggested on the yarn label.
Gauge:
Silk Garden and Cashmerino version: 24 sts and 26 rows = 4inches/10cmin pattern
Kureyon and Alafoss Lopi version: 22 sts and 28 rows = 4 inches /10 cm over pattern
Gauge is not crucial to this pattern.
