Matilda Moo
Matilda and Hugh are a pair of beautiful squishy cows. Their legs are dangly, but they can also sit and even stand if you get the balance just right!
You can make these gorgeous Moo-Cows in any yarn you’d like really, so the quantities are just my suggestion if you’d like your creations to look as similar to those in the images shown. With this in mind, if you’re going to use different materials (for example acrylic) then I suggest you choose your quantities based on the meterage, NOT the grams, as different materials can have considerably different weights (eg, cotton tends to be heavier than acrylic).
Matilda in made in a white DK cotton and Hugh is made in a Ginger fingering weight wool. So you can make these farmyard friends in any yarn you’d like really, just ensure to choose a good size hook to create a nice amigurumi fabric (I explain this in the pattern).
Plus - you’ll learn a new method! The nose is made in a unique way I came up with while experimenting one day. It is very effective and a lot easier than it looks!
