Meet Matilda Mouse. She is a sweet little lady who is carefully carrying her little satchel which matches the fabric lining her ears and the soles of her feet.

Matilda is an amigurumi mouse ideal for beginner/intermediate crocheters.

The pattern is written (and photos shown) using 4-ply yarn. This makes a mouse that sits 4 inches high (or 6 inches from ear to toe). The gauge in this project is not, however, important. Any weight of yarn can be used assuming the use of an appropriate size hook. Eg use King Cole BambooCotton and a size 4mm hook, or Vanna’s Choice solids with a 5 mm hook.
