Matilda's Lace Apron
Soft, flowing and light as a cloud - Matilda’s Lace Apron is lovely to knit and even more lovely to wear. Nearly weightless, you will stay cool and fresh all summer while making the most amazing fashion statement in this apron!
The lace pattern is a 14 st repeat across the body and a 12 row repeat down the length. The entire body is bordered with a 1x1 rib. Criss cross i-cord straps keep everything in place and secure. No straps slipping off your shoulders or halters to make your neck irritated! The buttons in the back are stationary and used just for the beauty of it!
Gauge for this pattern: In lace pattern - 14 sts x 24 rows = 3”
Yardage for this pattern: Using Knit Picks Shadow - two skeins will make you any of the sizes. And costing only $4.99/skein, you can make this whole project for only $15.50 including the pattern! What a deal! :)
I would list this as an intermediate knitting pattern. There is quite a bit of counting as you work the repeats.
Let me know if you have any questions on the pattern - I am always happy to help out! Thanks!!! :)
