Description

Matriochka (Hat) ^{(one size)} is a beanie hat with a beautiful border.
The pattern provides charts + written instructions, as well as two reading rhythms (advanced + expert).
Written tutorials will help you to get the most out of your project!

Construction

The border is knit flat and grafted into a cylinder, then stitches are picked-up along the i-cord to knit the crown in the round. The other side has a cable i-cord.
I-cords stitches are integrated in the chart and written instructions to make your knitting life easier!

Gauge

18x24 in stockinette st.

Size

The pattern is one size, designed to fit most adult heads, which unstretched measurements are:
42 cm / 16.5 inch circumference x 20 cm / 8 inch height

The sample model is worn on a 54 cm / 21.25 inch head.

Yarn & Yardage

1 skein of Réalisme DK Les Caspérides (100% superwash Bluefaced Leicester, 225m-247 y./100g) or 1 skein (2 balls) of dk yarn.

The sample model is knit in the colour Montoney and uses about 56g (125m/137 y.).
