This pattern is available for free.

This is feather and fan pattern.

MATERIAL REQUIRED: 3 ozs. 3-ply for the ribbed portion at waist and cuffs, and 5 ozs. 2-ply for lacey portion, and one pair each Nos. 7 and 10 needles.

SIZE: To fit 44 to 48 inch bust; for 32 to 34 inch bust use No. 10 needles; for 36 to 38 inch bust use No. 9 needles; for 40 to 42 inch bust use No. 8 needles. For smaller sizes work rib on No. 12 needles.

NOTE: For the feather and fan portion the numbers of sts. must be divisible by 18 sts., but it is not necessary to alter the number of sts. if the number of needles is altered. The yoke is worked in odd rib stitch—each row beginning with K. 2, P. 2, but ending with K. 1. When adjusting the shaping it is quite simple to follow the pattern as it will be seen that the 2nd stitch of K. 2 forms an unbroken rib.
