Russian Nesting Dolls have an effect on me that many people might experience if they found themselves in a gymnasium full of puppies. too much cute to handle. Then inside there’s another doll and it’s even tinier. Some merry Matryoshkas seem like the perfect antidote to bleak, blustery winters. Cheerful colors and bright-cheeked smiles are what you need to feel cute in the cold.

Matryoshka Mittens are stranded colorwork mittens worked upwards from the cuff. They’re worked in two colors of fingering weight yarn.

One size fits most. Mittens have an 8.5” circumference at the palm and measure 9” from the cuff to the tip of the fingers.

Less than one 175 yard skein of each color was used for each pair.
