Matt826 Scarf got it’s name because I was working on designing it during Hurricane Matthew in October 2016 My husband thinks this new Gossamer colorway in Red Heart’s Unforgettable yarn looks like an oil shimmer on water. I agree that the colors are very similar.

The Matt826 Scarf is an easy knit as it is all worked in garter stitch. To me, this is the ideal take-along project if you are sitting in a waiting room or traveling. The more dramatic the color changes in the yarn, the better this will look. The yarn colors really do all the visual work here. It is easy to wear as a warm scarf or a cozy wrap. it can certainly be made longer by adding more repeats of the pattern.
