This sweater uses the intarsia method of knitting three yarns simultaneously to achieve the block pattern. Once you have knitted in one shade and before starting with the new shade wrap the yarns around each other on the WS of work before knitting in the next colour, this will ensure a hole does not develop between the two colours. We suggest winding the hanks into separate balls of yarn to knit with. When you have completed the back and front the sweater is joined at the shoulder using the 3 needle bind off technique, the wrong side of the fabric then becomes the right side of the sweater.
