The Maui Convertible is more than just one item. When you get creative, a simple rectangle can be used in a myriad of ways you never thought possible!
You can create a poncho with a simple button, a wrap for around your shoulders, a beach cover up when secured at the chest with a button or wrapped around your waist, or a light and lacy super scarf. This pattern is easy, fun, and you aren’t limited to using it just one way…you can use them all without any major conversions. This would also make a great gift for the upcoming holiday season!
The finished item measures 25” Width x 67” Length and there are instructions included on how to adjust the size if needed.
There is a stitch chart at the end of the pattern. The only stitches you will need to know are chain, single crochet and double crochet. This pattern is classified as easy and it it a two row repeat.
You will need approximately 1093 yards (1000 m) of a size 2 fine weight yarn and a F/5 (3.75 mm) crochet hook. The button is optional.
If you choose to use a heavier weight yarn, please keep in mind that your finished item will be larger than the example.
This pattern is written in standard American crochet terms.
