Mauve and Dangerous is based on a scene from Doctor Who (Season 1, The Empty Child) that transpires in a London jazz club during World War II. The chanteuse in a white satin gown and fur stole is singing It Had to be You. While not intended to be a replica of her costume, this stole evokes the elegance and artistry of the singer and the desire to exhibit a touch of glamour even in the midst of a terrible war.
Add a bit of glamour to your evening with this beautiful piece and see if it doesn’t make you feel a little bit dangerous.

This pattern uses some unusual techniques, so I have included links to tutorial videos in the pattern.

I have written one size, but included information for adjusting the overall length of the stole to accommodate any size.
