Max was an orphan and was discovered by the old ship captain Bert, a golden retriever. Bert took care of Max, raised, looked after and taught him everything he could. Of course, most of it was about life out at sea and how to live a life as a skipper.

Max saw Bert as his dad and for each passing day, Max just wanted to learn more and more.

When Max had grown big enough and learned everything Bert had to teach him, Max got his own sailboat from his dear Bert. Max became overjoyed and obviously named his boat after his foster father Bert.

Today Max is a really handsome ship dog, he controls his boat according to where the winds take him and almost always he has dear Bert with him. Although Bert himself has become too old to handle the boat, he sees himself in his beloved Max.
