Max is a cheeky monkey with a craving for bananas! Knitted in stockinette, this toy is worked in acrylic yarns so it is easier to keep clean after play. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, Max is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES
A pair of 3.5mm straight single pointed knitting needles (US 4)

RECOMMENDED YARN
Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; one 100g/280m skein in each colour

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, toy filling, a stitch holder, and buttons to decorate.

SIZES
One size only - 28cm tall measured from toes to top of ears.

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
