Construction: This pullover is worked from the top down and in the round with the contiguous sleeve construction method. It is worked entirely in 2x2 rib and designed to be worn with some negative ease. You have a choice of making a sweater or dress version. While the sweater version has no shaping in the body, the dress version has a slight A-line shape. The neck and yoke have German Short Rows to raise the back.
Knitting level: Intermediate
Skills required: tubular cast-on, German Short Rows, backward loop Increases, and maintaining rib pattern while increasing/decreasing
Sizes: 2 (4, 6, 8, 10, 12) years old, the sample is Size 6yo, worn with 2”/5 cm of positive ease in chest
Finished chest measurement:
22 (23½, 26, 27½, 29, 30½)“ / 56 (59.5, 66, 70, 73.5, 77.5) cm of chest circumference, to be worn with 0-2”/0-5 cm of positive ease
