A variation of Angel Wisp Shawl, this is a rectangular stole which can be adapted to any size, from scarf to huge wrap. It was inspired by a lovely lady called Maxie who has made 5 Angel Wisp Shawls and suggested it may be interesting as a stole and I took up the challenge!
As written the pattern produces a stole approx. 50cm by 180cm when blocked and uses less than 60g of laceweight yarn. A scarf approx. 20cm by 180cm would use about 25g of laceweight.
I crochet quite loosely with mohair yarn, so although the pattern uses a 4mm hook you may find a 5mm hook better.
The pattern is very adaptable and could be used with any weight of yarn provided you use a suitable hook.
