Inspired by the timeless children’s classic How The Grinch Stole Christmas, this design captures the excitement and delight of Max (Grinch’s free-spirited sidekick) in anticipation of his sleigh ride down from Mount Crumpet where they live.

A whimsical curlicue tops the hat, much like the snowy peak where their ride begins, winding down the mountain through a decorative cabled trail.

Join Max on his magical Sleigh Ride and carry the holiday joy with you throughout the year.

The perfect accessory for any Dr. Seuss fan and companion piece to Who Pudding Cowl.

Pattern Notes
Blending mohair with wool creates a luxuriously soft fabric with gorgeously marled color gradations.
• Color Choices: Make sure to select a color palette for the mohair that complements some of the wool colorways.
This is the perfect project for stash busting to use those yarn scraps too precious to toss but too sparse for a full project alone.
• Ends: I suggest weaving in the ends as you go to close color transition gaps.
• Twists: Make sure to twist the ends twice to close the gaps before weaving them in.
• Yarn Substitutions: I used lace-weight mohair to bust my abundant stash. You can use any lace-weight yarn, or even single strands of embroidery floss to blend color transitions.
