Inspired by Maxwell from Scribblenauts. This guy stands about 15” Tall including the top of his hat. He was made as a present for my bf’s son since his favorite game is Scribblenauts.

MATERIALS:

• F Hook (3.75Mm) and D Hook (3.25Mm)
• Caron Simply Soft: Country Blue / Red Heart Saver: Buff, Hot Red, Yellow, Light Blue, White, Heather Gray / Red Heart Soft: Light Heather Gray, Guacamole or similar yarn and weights
• Black felt
• Poly-fil fiberfill
• Yarn Needle & Round Marker/yarn
• Black thread and needle
• 1 pipe cleaner/wire whichever you prefer

STITCHES/ABBREVIATIONS TO KNOW:
Sc = single crochet
2sc = 2 single crochet in stitch or increase
3sc = 3 single crochet in stitch
hdc = half double crochet
dc = double crochet
sl st = slip stitch
2sctog = 2 single crochet together or decrease
(x#) = Number of times to repeat
st(s) = stitch(es)
F/O = Fasten off

SKILL LEVEL
Advance Intermediate with knowledge of crocheting in the round, increasing, and decreasing, foundation chains, front loops and changing color.
