May
May scarf is worked holding together one strand of merino and two strands of mohair in a beautiful brioche pattern, resulting in a beautiful wavy fabric. First you work increases to form a pointed
edge, and then you follow an easy brioche pattern chart. The scarf is designed to wrap twice around the neck and requires just one merino skein and two mohair skeins for the right length. If you have extra yarn in your stash and would like a longer scarf, simply add some more pattern repeats.
Measurements: Length approx. 128.5 cm / 51.5” and width 16 cm / 6.25” of finished scarf once blocked.
Gauge: 19 sts x 15 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4” in brioche chart pattern using 5 mm (US 8) needles holding together one strand
