Discontinued.
This digital pattern is no longer available online.
The name is inspired by the Mendelssohn piece Op. 62, No. 1.
The mittens are knit in the round and use stranded knitting. Charts are given for the back of the hand and the palm.
A tubular cast-on is recommended for the cuff. It is not explained within the pattern, but because of its stretchy nature and appealing look, it is a lovely technique to learn and try.
The glove is finished by grafting the remainder of the stitches together. This is explained within the pattern.
