May Flowers
I obsessed over the details in this pattern. For clear instructions I used charts for sizes, allowing you to check your work at every turn. The colourwork is a simple 8 and 9 stitch pattern. Stacked on the body and staggered on the sleeves. The yoke is created in a classic raglan shape with easy increases on every other row. Add more flowers if you like.
Setting up your work with stitch markers keeps you organized and aware of where you are on the pattern. It is a quick knit so you will be wearing it before the weather gets to hot.
The length of the sleeve and the body are easily adjustable to your personal taste. No shape sleeves keeps the knitting quick so you don’t spend too long on Sleeve Island.
The beads add a little sparkle and you can easily avoid them if you don’t want the fuss. With minimal practice the beads keep the knitting interesting. I have provided links for the beads that work best with a DK yarn and the crochet hook size.
Enjoy what Spring has to offer.
