This pattern is the sister to my ‘April Showers’ socks; I have tried to keep the pattern simple, but a familiarity with basic sock techniques (including wrap and turn short rows and Judy’s magic cast on) is advisable before you embark on this project.
The pattern is written for a foot with a medium circumference of approximately 9”, if you are planning to adjust this, take into consideration the fact that the pattern on the instep will be worked over a multiple of 7 with remainders each side.
