“May Music Fill your Heart and Soul” was designed by Cheryl Dawley for her friend Debbie, who signs the e-mails she sends the families of San Diego’s Youth Symphony with the same sentiment. As Ensembles Coordinator, Debbie works tirelessly to keep musicians and their parents informed and on track so that rehearsals and concerts run smoothly. When she admired Cheryl’s knitting and expressed the need for a black scarf, (and mentioned a cruise in her future), Cheryl designed a pattern that would fit both needs – something that could be worn lightly over the shoulders or wrapped up around the neck.
